A couple of Sabbaths ago, nine kids in my Junior Sabbath School class raised their hands for baptismal studies! I was blown away. I looked over at the other leader and said, "Looks like we've got a job to do!" After getting the OK from my pastor, I announced that in 2nd Quarter, we are going to do Baptismal studies in Junior Sabbath School. Then, I got to work on the discussion guide. I finished it today!
I continue to edit the DM Guide as we work our way through. I have also reformatted the DM Guide so the teacher/student has both the teacher/student pages open at the same time. This creates simplicity for the teacher and transparency for the student.
We are currently about halfway through our baptismal studies in Juniors at Lilydale Church. We have approximately 18 Juniors on the Journey! We have had a couple of Juniors lead studies now!
