From the video "Heart building Habits " in the Bill Hybels Leadership series!
The worries of life SCREAM for attention. God only seems to whisper. Carving out time for God often gets lost in the fray of business. When everything in your minister is getting bigger and your heart for God and people is getting smaller you know you are experiencing the shrivelling heart syndrome.
Practices
1 Tim 4:7,8 - Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives' tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.
